That by not raising my engine quite high enough when I replaced my front isolator mount that it could cause this?
The bike has about 12k miles on it and is due for a 10k service so could it be worn seals or something or is it more likely my first guess.

Why did you have to replace your front isolator mount? I've got 20k miles on my bike and have had no problems with it other than initial warranty issues which were solved right away.

I've heard of a number of 12's with leaking base gaskets. First 9 I've heard of.

ahhh yes, base gasket leakage. mine does that a little. sporty did too. probable cause is running engine hard when cold. like i said mine is weeping a bit there too. i TRY to warm mine up, and TRY to baby it for the first 10 minutes of running, but invariably short trips in town involve an occasional twist of throttle.
the spec for cylinder stud nut torque is not very high, the engine is built to run right and seal correctly when HOT, so they are a bit loose when first started up.

Replaced the front isolator because it was shot one too many hard landings and suddenly it just slopped out.
So then I probably shouldn't jack it back up loosen the isolator and raise the engine n retighten?

on the silver motor, what you have shown
is unfortunately acceptable as far as H-D is
concerned

they say there will be some seepage on ALL motors

it is more noticeable on the silver motor

So you're a wheelie-popper and it was damaged as a result of that? Makes sense I guess.

I like to go fast, but I never saw any reason to do wheelies on a street bike. I'm trying to make this bike last me a lifetime of fun and adventure.

As for wheelies, I have a Yamaha YZ450F.

yeah, cant stress enough how important warm up is.

i have seepage (actually weeping) on my rear base gasket and i'm going to replace it and add some permatex anaerobic sealant. i'll post the results when i get done. won't be this weekend though because i have to move.

My rear base gasket on 12s was leaking in March when I started riding again. Covered under warranty....Of course they took their sweet time with it and kept the bike for 5 days. Covered under warranty

Izzinya....I would beg to differ on what you say Harley's acceptable leakage policy is. I was told by my dealer that any leakage needed to be corrected asap or it could cause further damage.

If I ever hear that kind of crap from my dealer when I'm under warranty, I'll simply ask: Was it designed to leak? Which we already know the answer is no.

my dealership (and others im sure)has on many occasions repaired
a gasket like that

but that does not mean that it "is a warrantable condition"

as for h-d reps that is concidered a "weep"
and that is not a warrantable condition

if you look closely on the black motor it will be there as well

if its a "leak" than bye all means fix it

and im a tech not a rep

just what ive been told
