Here's my story. Earlier this summer, I took my Drummer off to repaint it. After removal, I noticed that the insides had become loose and things were moving around inside. Anyhow, a week and a half ago, I e-mailed Kevin about my pipe. I explained that I was on my way to "the Dragon" and not to e-mail me back for a week or so. I left him my phone number in the note and he called me back right away. Kevin said that if I wanted to, since I was gonna be a couple of hours away, that I could come by his shop and he would build me a new pipe and replace the damaged one at no charge! I even explained that I might have damaged the original pipe by denting it going over a curb. He said that he would gladly replace and install the pipe for free! I said "Deal!" Anyhow, I finally made it to his shop at 6:30 on Friday night and he was there waiting on me. After he installed the pipe, him, his girlfriend, my Dad, and myself went out for dinner and kicked back some Coronas. What a great time! It was great sitting back and talking about Buells and horsepower with him. This guy really knows his stuff! While I was there, he showed me the new Drummer SS. What a great pipe! The build quality and looks of that pipe is phenomenal. The machining that is on that pipe is top notch and I was highly impressed. After meeting Kevin, I really understand why people really stick up for Kevin. He is a great guy and I would gladly do business with him again and I would highly reccomend him to anyone. On a side note, I rode the Dragon and the Blue Ridge Parkway for the first time on Friday and I was blown away by them. the scenery was fantastic and the roads are almost indescribable! The Dragon is extremely tight and even better than I could have imagined. EVERY MOTORCYCLIST HAS TO RIDE THE DRAGON! WOW!WOW!WOW! What a fun and challenging road. 1900 miles in 5 days and now I am back to work but I have a lot of great memories from my Dad and my first motorcycle trip ever. It is definitely not my last. Kevin, thanks again for everything. Chris |

Doughnut, Yes, but he needs your can to build it from. See this thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17143/108267.html?1114382429 I'm hoping to have him build one for me before the year's out. |

Hello my name is Chris and I am a Blue Ridge, Smokey Mountain a'holic... Hey Chris welcome to the fold. I see that Dragon has bit you too, but in the good way Next time check out the Cherohala Skyway (west of the Dragon) and rt. 28 (east of the Dragon), and my personal fav. US 276 between Brevard and Cruso. Even though you can't go that fast, I love the Parkway too. 45-60 mph sweeping back and forth for hours with a decreasing radius every few miles to keep you on your toes! |

I rode the dragon for the first time last weekend too. Incredible! Now, me and my buds are pledging to make it a yearly pilgrimage. Rt. 28 was also very fun due to less traffic and a little higher speeds. |

Yes, I am already trying to get back out there this fall. This time, I want to trailer the bike out so I can ride a little harder. 750 miles from home made me a little timid about riding too hard. I was equally impressed with the Blue Ridge Parkway. That is the most gorgeous area I have ever been in. It was hard to ride too fast because I spent too much time gawking at the scenery. I wanted to hit the Skyway, but time didn't permit. We came through the Dragon on Thursday afternoon and had planned to ride the Skyway then, but after checking into the "TwoWheelInn", we had a huge downpour which ruinned our riding for the evening. |

The coolest thing about the Parkway is that almost ANY exit you take puts you on a cool twisty road. I'll be headed up to the area (Black Mountain, NC) for Labor Day weekend. It'll be SOOOO nice to ride where it's not sweltering hot and where curves are closer than ~8 miles apart!
