So this guy brings in his bike (well he really took it to our other store and they all gave up so they brought it to me.) So i start it up and it just runs, idels up and down, wont rev up. Now it to the point it wont even run. So i was thinkin it needs a TPS reset, so i dig in my box and get my spare stock ECM hook it up and let the bike get to opp temp for the reset. Bikes hot so i hook the Race ECM back up reset the TPS and it still runs like crap. So im like hhmmm is the R ECM junk?? probable but lets try one more thing, i take my R ECM out my 12, hook it up runs fine!! So it looks like this BRAND NEW Race ECM is Junk!! Has anybody else had problems with them?

Yes, I blew through one a while back. A voltage spike from a loose connection will fry these things, Chandler warrantied the bad one.

When they first came out i got one in my 9R. I had to take it to the shop three times before they got it fixed. They claim that there were two bad r ECM's n a row. Took 'em a week to fix it after the third time in.

Well, my Mgr. told me that he has to take it back to the other store do to us not being a buell dealer, we cant warrenty the ECM. But the guy does not wanna take it back, he wants me to fix it...after seein my bike he told them that he thinks i have a slight idea on what im doing with a buell. He even asked "Why have you "buell guy" at the srore that does not sell the buells".....well im also the "Dyno guy" and the shop im in has the Dyno, whats a poor boy to do (o yeah and the reason that he took it to us was cuz the other shop told him that the Race ECM needed to be tuned...If you can tune the Race ECM id sure like to know how hahaha)
