Got some info from the Badweb about having to primer my frame pucks before painted them the frame silver. Went to local hardware store(as my Badweb'rs told me to) asked the guy for plastic primer so I can paint the pucks. He looked like a deer in headlights and said he did not have any. Then went to other competitors of the first hardware store, and no luck! What is this stuff called? Has anyone else painted there pucks and how did it look? Thanks for the help. Dschley |

Bulldog plastic adhesion promoter...I got it at Wal-Mart but Auto zone or other chain Auto parts stores should carry it. It was with the auto paint spray cans in WM... I painted my pucks and they matched really well...so well that I didn't notice when one of them blew off somewhere (Message edited by madbandito on August 11, 2005) |

Thanks Madbandito. I will go to Walmart. Now what about the adhesion? Is that a problem? What else could you use so they would not blow off? |

I have heard that Buell has addressed the problem and that the new pucks may have better stickum- I would ask one of the other members who may have a newer set than I did...You could use a better adhesive but then you might not ever get it off if you needed to replace it.... |

3m makes a double sided sticky that has red plastic over the adhesive... Its indoor/outdoor rated.. Got some at home depot... let that sit a couple of days and you will struggle to get it off... |
