They (a sales guy walking past me looking at the Buells) told me that they are not getting any new '06 models also... not exactly saying they are dropping Buell, but if you are not getting any new ones in...

This was about a week ago.

Pat Rogers H-D in Concord, N.C. is dropping the Buells. An overlap of dealer networks is the reason given, as 10 miles west of them Charlotte H-D/Buell carried the line(maybe not now). I can't find one dealer in S.C., now closest ones to me in N.C. are shunning them. I'm glad I bought a service manual, even happier I have not needed it yet.

Sleeper- Low Country HD/Buell in Charleston, SC still carries Buell. They also have a store in Myrtle Beach.

Low Country doesn't stock any Buell stuff, but they have been perfectly courteous about ordering stuff for me. Only service I had done was the rear shock recall on my used 2000 S3, but they were great about that. No hassle with doing it, took about a week to get it scheduled, did it in a day. They supposedly have a very good Buell tech.

That's good news. By the way, Augusta, H/D still services the Buell line, a service tech nicknamed "truck" has done excellent work on mine, once for 1000k service, once for wheel bearing upgrade and belt upgrade. Since they only have one certified tech, it would be wise to schedule work ahead of time and also takes about a day to complete. I'm not sure if they are keeping or dropping the Buell line for sales dept.

I just called H-D of Charlotte and confirmed that they are dropping the sales of Buells. They will still have parts and service though. Carolina H-D in Gastonia still sells Buells, about 15 miles west of Charlotte.

Carolina H-D(Gastonia) and Tilleys H-D(Statesville) are the only two places I was comfortable going to for anything anyway.
Glad BUELL is dropping Speedway and Charlotte.

Little birdie said Gastonia HD/Buell is expanding Buell stuff. Anyone have confirmation of this?

Of course, little birdies also crap on you when flying over...

Sleeper, I forgot to mention, there's a Buell dealer in Anderson, SC too. I stopped in there a few months ago; they actually had a rack of Buell clothing (helmets, gloves, T-shirts, jackets, etc.). Buells are pretty prominently displayed in their near-new building.

BTW, Low Country HD/Buell's been building a new building for ~1.5 years now. Looks like it should be through before the end of the year. Not sure how it will fare for Buells.

Sleeper,

Timms HD/Buell. They're right on the main drag through Anderson on the north side of town. I have no idea how they are as a Buell dealer, but I was impressed that they at least had some Buell stuff on the shelf and the Buells were in the front window instead of at the back of the showroom.

Complete info (address, URL, phone) is listed at Buell.com.
