I have both ends of the bike up on lifts to change tires. Can I let the bike weight (front end) rest on the D&D. Lift interferes with the removal of front axle.

I lift my XB by the D&D all the time, so what the hell does that mean, "Kevin", just out of curiosity.

As a mater of fact, it has been sitting on the lift for over 2 weeks now, and has sat much longer then that on it.

I am not trying to start a pissing match of any kind, as I am just curious to know what they meant by you cant lift from the D&D.

If there is a logical reason they put the flat plate on the bottom for other reasons then to lift the bike safely, since they use the same hard points as the factory muffler, I would like to know.
