nope. Just Softails and Touring bikes All engines are made in Milwaukee, 'cept V-rods Capital Drive Plant makes Sportster and Buell Engines and Pilgrim Rd. Plant makes the Big Twins | ||

Every year they ask for employee volunteers to work the open house. I volunteered to work the demos. Hope I get picked. getting paid to ride lead or chase what a great job. 2 buells did you sign up to work? (Message edited by lucky on August 09, 2005) | ||

I'll be there styling on my buell XB12R. Last year I went to the friday parade and hung out around downtown. Did not see one other XB buell there. I did see some tubers. | ||

Lucky, I've worked Open House since 1996. 1996 Lead/Chase Buell Demos 1997 Lead/Chase Buell Demos and Flagman at the BattleTrax event. 1998 Ran the BattleTrax event 1999 thru 2001 I worked on the Open House Comm. setting up bike events and outside layout. In 1999, I also lead the BRAG ride with Erik Buell.... 2002~2004 Set-up and ran the BattleTrax events (working for Kittrelle Inc.) Buellman39...there were XB'S at Open House...there were a few at BattleTrax....... Lucky, good luck on getting picked..if you checked Buell rider you have a good chance. | ||

Yeah, that was '98? I had only owned the bike for about a month before I saw the Btrax at York and thought, "Hey That looks like fun......" I did drop it in front of a bunch of people(Rookie mistake, front brake while leaned over), but I remember either you or Reg asking, you want to try again, and I said, "YES" the rest is history. | ||

Hey, while you're already at York for the open house, why not stop by Liberty Buell for OUR little open house?! (shameless plug) Erik will be stopping by with his band (Erik and the Thunderbolts) to play a few songs, and I'm sure he'll be doing his usual meet and greet thing. So, after you've demoed a few Buells at York, why not take a quick, what, 2 or 3 hour trip over to Rahway and let him know what you think!! C'mon, ya know you want to. It's Saturday the 24th. We'll even give you some lunch. Whaddaya say? | ||
