WoW... What a day.. at the track!!!
( Canadian Thunder Twins) Man there were a total of 10 Xb`s , A few Ducatis, and also BMW`s 12 laps in total ,Some special cans for exhaust including that micron dual outlet I think you spell it like that from over seas( sounds abit like the latus) as well as another LOUDD Wow IF my xb12r with Force was parked beside it I`m not sure you wd. hear mine, anyways #123 was in front, followed by 12 and 229 Xb`s of Course :-)) Then came a couple of Ducs. more xb`s and then BMWs ...
MAke a long story short #12 ran into a oil leak had to come in , Guess they had a few over the weekend hmm Man they were flying though too bad ...the leader #123 I think did a low slide almost at the end Bummer, #229 (ruthlessracinginc.com) finished in first and then the two ducs. Man too bad that happened would have seen 1,2,3 all by xb`s oh well I wish I wd. have went for the full weekend, and Sorry no pics. :-(( Guess there going to be here every year now, One great Day..!!!(http://www.cdnsuperbike.com/news/05/080705f.shtml

Thanks Blake,
For getting that link up there :-), Wow thought there wd. be more interest in this topic though, Especially from Canadian riders and also U.S. riders as well..anyways Found out today one of the things that brought the leader down was I guess a few tight links in the primary chain which in turn cause it to hit the adjuster and start an oil leak from that, just one of those things (tihS happeneds )..!

It's too bad that there aren't thunder bike races at all the Parts Canada events. Buell (both Canada and USA) should be doing their utmost to promote these races and SPONSOR more racers. It wouldn't hurt to see them publish results on their websites either.

It seems that at track days in Calgary I've been the only Buell there, and I'm not very good. It's a lot of fun, but it would be nice to see some interest from Buell, and other Buell riders. The local dealer here does sponsor a racer, but you don't hear anything about it.
just learning

I have been racing buells in Alberta for three years now in Calgary and Edmonton. This year I am racing a xb9, I am the only one in Alberta on a buell this year an there is no real class for me, I do well in Edmonton as it a tighter track but in Calgary the 600's and 1000's blow me away on the straight need nos. : ) I am sponsored by Calgary Harley Davidson Buell. come to a race

Hello powerranger, I met you at some of the buell track / demo days. I knew that you had been sponsored by Calgary HD/Buell which is great. I only made it to the Canadian superbikes last year, and I don't think you were racing that day.

Does BRAG or anyone else run track days for Buell? I have gone out a couple of times with the group from Rev, and it's been a lot of fun, but I'm the only Buell there.

Had planed to be racing in Edmonton this weekend but the trans let loose in my pick up. I will be racing in Calgary on the 20th & 21. Hope to see you there. Still trying to work some things out as far as gearing and power but it will come . See Ya
