so a buddy and i left a bike night and were headed to the freeway, so i look to get over and dont see a car, so i get over....right into the side of a van. So i broke my bars, all of the Carbon Fiber on the left side is junk, small scuff on lower left fork leg, boot makrs on primary cover, ruber on toe shifter, scuff on front fender, scuff on clutch lever, cable may also be messed up but did not look that close yet.

the van had marks all the way down the slide door, i hit my head hard on the rear of the van...their was plasitc on the paint.

but all and all im ok, foot hurts and my hand is gonna be sore, hope i can get new parts fast, i will be back on the road in a day or two, im just gonna put the stock bars back on for now till i can come up with the cash to get new ones

but question is, can i get just one of the carbon fiber frame covers?? thanks, Mike

I think the only good part of an accident like that, is when you regain conciousness(if you lost it like I did), looking around, and thinking, ••••, that could have been alot worse....usually what happens in my case....

Glad you are ok..and willing to jump right back in the saddle....

Ther Van was a dark color right? Along side it it could seem damn near invisible in the right lighting conditions...or lack there of...

Again, glad you are ok...

Just remember, it happens...and the only BAD(and by bad, well, you know what I mean, as none of them are good) bike wreck, is the one you DONT walk away from...

Hi,
First off, Glad you are OK!
Yes of course you can order just the side that you need to replace. If you order online just put in the comments box which side you require and we'll get one sorted for you.

Glad your okay.
This is one of the reasons I am not to hard on car drivers that pull out in front of you etc.
We all make mistakes car drivers and bikers alike.

Good question, you turned your head and looked over your shoulder and he wasn't there?

sounds like two vehicles heading to same lane..

Glad yer alright man... any accident you can walk/stumble away from is bed than those you leave on a gurney.

I'm thinking there was 3 lanes and the van was in the far left or right lane and both changed at the same time. He may have checked to see if anyone was behind him and knew the van was there but not moving over.

yep, it was 3 lanes, i was in the curb lane and wanted to move left (road was bumpy as hell in the curb lane) to i looked, saw nothing and moved over and their was the van. Its not like i moved over directly in to the side of it, but as i was movein over he must have came from the 3rd lane.
