Go to Kilboy.com and see the (Braggin at the Dragon) Buellers at the gap this past weekend. It rained Sunday and Monday, but we all had a great time.
If you scroll down on the home page you will see a couple of Buellers, including Rocco (Bike Wash). I don't know who was on the other 9S with a T-shirt (Love those black and gold Buells).
Several pictures on "---> your photos are here" in the sportbike section, July 31. Pages 11,12,13,14,15,23,24 and 38.
Rocco and the gang are still there ripping up the gap.

I was there Saturday (no rain ) but my pics aren't nearly as impressive (one is in my profile). Still had a good time, though. Came in across the Chirahala Skyway and left by the Foothills Parkway. Beautiful ride with a bit of fun thrown in, too. It was a good day with my buds.

The sliders worked well. Mirror on right handlebar is gone. The tank did not touch. He is still riding it, rode it on down to the store afterward. His leathers saved any skin rash. It was raining and there was some diesel fuel on road.

I heard they caught the guy who was "spilling" oil on the road. Not too pretty from what I was told!

The oil ran the whole length of the dragon in the north bound lane and as of yesterday it now covers the entire length of the south bound lane as well. It was clearly intentional. I haven't heard anything about the guys being caught though.

Rocco's fine, bike's pretty good as well. It wasn't raining at the time but the oil proved to be enough. I took a detour off road to avoid hitting him as he went down and had to had to get a tow out of the ditch from a car that passed. Everyone's okay, so that's good, but it definately put a damper on the trip. The whole thing just pisses me off - it should be prosecuted as attempted murder as far as I'm concerned.

If I remeber correctly, it will be prosecuted that way. The gap had a similar accident afew months ago with someone throwing jars of used motor oil, i may be wrong but i seem to remember talk of prosecution for attempted murder. Good.
Glad to hear everyone came out allright.

Diesel fuel on wet pavement = nearly frictionless surface. Once got on some on a wet Friday afternoon in heavy traffic in a cage; moving at ~5 MPH uphill the car started SLIDING when I LIGHTLY touched the brakes. Major pucker factor there.

Glad your no one was hurt.

It wasn't totally without some injury (Rocco had a mild concussion so he had a headache going on, but not really any other signs - except maybe that rain suit...)
