How fitting, end the trip next to the third largest tree in the world with the same name as a big new bike from Buell with the same name. I'll be riding with a group of friends on a 1000 mile trip through Sequoia National Park in less than two weeks. Maybe I'll take my own Ferris Bueller's day off and meet you there at the end of the trip.

What is the plan to get back home from there? Have you secured a Ulysses yet?

I suppose an eastern tour is out of the question?

Brood, i live at Lake Isabella -- Sequoia/Kings Canyon is literally in my back yard. yes, i have secured a Ulysses, see the thread in Tale Section. let me know if i can help with your trip thru the area.

Bill, sorry, would LOVE to visit more states on this trip, but only have ten days this time this time around. will be in your neighborhood in September '06 for the BRATPAC II ride (see Storm Fronts), maybe see you there?

John, THANK YOU for the offer of hospitality! looks like i've got the SoCal leg of this trip covered in that regard, but PLEASE come join us if you can. see this thread in Tale Section for more info.

have been on the phone non-stop the last several days putting the puzzle pieces together, and it's all starting to gel nicely. look for more info soon from some of the organizers of the various legs, including SoCal.

REALLY hope to see you on the ride. Sat night 9/10 is the Buelling Man Celebration down in Ocatillo Wells, you do NOT want to miss that. : )

ride to lean. ride to roost. ride to ride.
Ferris

just trying to get the word out Blake. this ride launches in 30 days and it ain't much time to put all the pieces together -- thought i'd carpet bomb the board and then direct the survivors to Tale Section.

where you gonna be on Sat 9/3??? : )

We'll be staying in Three Rivers the first night. That's about as far south as we're going to get on this trip.
