Interesting....I thought that all the replica bikes that "Hal's built" had chain drive. However, they do sell the parts so you can buy and build what you want.

I think Mike Cicotto is the one selling it.

They should probably go ahead and sell his race bike also. It sure isn't getting much use this year.

If that is the same one I saw at Hals a few months back the only difference from a stock xb12r is the cosmetics.

Does anyone know if Hals is going to participate in any remaining races of the year?

Got this in my email today....

"Yes, it's been a while, but our Hal's Performance Advantage race teams have been hard at work getting ready for their upcoming races. Our AMA Formula Extreme team with rider Mike Ciccotto will be looking for a top 5 finish at the Virginia International Raceway on August 26th-28th, 2005. Following this race, they will head over to Road Atlanta, Sept. 2nd-4th.

Hal's own Dan Bilansky will be competing in the Formula USA Thunderbike Series August 12th-14th at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL."

Glitch, Bilansky is SUCH a nice guy too! It was a bit humbling to have him follow the Brew City Brag crew around Blackhawk farms, waving to us with one hand, passing us mid corner on a stock XB12S. And here I am thinking I'm going as fast as humanly possible

It was cool seeing him passing bikes with 50-60+ more HP. on his track bike : ) But boy is that thing LOUD! Louder than any bike out there that day.

Like they say, "it ain't the bike as much as the rider".
That's why Rossi went to from Honda to Yamaha. Honda was sayin' Rossi is winning because we make such a great bike. It had to kill them to get beat by that "slow" Yamaha.
80% rider, 20% bike.

a;dn;5rahv;klat....Oh damn my keyboard shorted out from the uncontrollable drool! I love the fully faired R's and to get Ciccotto's personal scoot? BONUS! I hope the new owner appreciates what he's buying. I just wish it were me!

Is that the real deal or just a look alike with the same paint?

Belt drive, jardine pipe? I thought the race bikes had dual intake hoses to feed the dual throttle bodies?

Not to mention the License plate and the headlights.

Even if it is a replica, it would be cool to own Mike Cicotto's personal bike.

Have Mike, Erik and either Hal or his son Kirk autograph it and it will be a keeper!
