Just wanted to share my experience with Al over at American Sportbike. I bought the Ermax tail from him a couple months ago and I've been having some problems with it, so I sent some pictures of it over to Al. I had a couple cracks on the undertail, and the blinkers were not wired correctly so I was frying fuses like crazy. Al made a call to Ermax over in France and took care of me 100%! They are going to send an extra undertail with his next order, and I should have my new undertail in about 2.5 weeks. He was great to deal with and he seemed to only be concerned with my being happy with the product that I had purchased, not the extra work he had to do to take care of me. Just thought I would share. I think that people sometimes forget to share the good customer service stories, so I wanted to be sure that Al got his props! Thanks Al!

James

Chiming in on this - Thanks to Al and his rather exhaustive comparo of front brake pad/rotor combos when upgrading to the 2K parts. Put the new rotor on this weekend, with Ferodo pads - stops sooo mucho better. I was worried about decreased braking performance as reported with the OEM pads and the updated rotor, and this combo works great.
Thanks Al.

I second that! If it's not an OEM part I use American Sport Bike for all my orders. Al is knowledgable about the brand and offers a selection of "proven to work parts". And as noted above he stands behind his products. We should all reward him by giving our future business to American Sport Bike.

I've been dealing more with Al than Buell dealers, lately. If he sells it, I'd rather buy it from him than anyone else just for the great conversation and advice.

I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and time Al takes in responding to emails. Especially from customers like me who have lots of questions and no mechanical ability! Will most definitely be buying more stuff from American Sport Bike!

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It means a lot.

Glad to help. It'd be nice if there were more hours in the day, between all the calls, emails and orders, it's sometimes hard to keep up. But knowing it's appreciated makes it easier to keep trying harder.

BTW, Joanne may not be able to answer all the tech questions and such, but behind the scenes, she works her butt off to get everyone's orders out the day we receive them. The hour before the UPS man arrives to pick up is very often a panic to try to get everything out. She does all she can to get your parts to you as fast and as cheap as possible. She deserves a lot of the thanks for making it possible for me to be able to talk so long with everyone. Thanks Joanne!!!

Thanks All !

Al

Oh yeah! Big thanks to Joanne! When I got my new shift and brake levers from you last Wednesday, I was in such a rush to get them on that I did not put loctite on the pegs figuring I would just do it later or tomorrow. Well, riding to work and back that Thursday, I vibed the shifter peg right out! Called American Sport Bike and got Joanne on the phone that afternoon and begged to get a new one shipped out overnight for Friday delivery because I had a big ride on Sunday. She came through big time!! THANKS!!
