So I lowsided awhile ago, & just finished putting on a new primary cover (couldn't stand the scratches) & shift lever/linkage. Basically, it won't shift. There's partial lever movement, but no changing of gears regardless of clutch adjustment or rolling it back/forth in the shop.

The lowside was nothing spectacular in terms of impact, so it's hard to imagine there'd be transmission damage. I nursed it home riding the clutch several times to get rolling through stoplights in what felt like 4th gear.

I'm freaking out about all that's involved in splitting cases to get at the transmission.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Any chance that you bent the shifter shaft?

Possibly, although the new primary cover slid on fine & everything lined up. I'll check it more closely when I get back in there. Thanks for the idea.
