Did any thing change? Same colors. Still only one color option on the 9. I am disappointed with the xbr.

copied from crustyspice's post..
I think some of this applies to the 9?

– A new transmission features a “dog ring” design for quicker shifts with less effort. Helical-designed gears reduce transmission noise, and the oil-change interval is extended to 10,000 miles from 5,000 miles. Clutch lever effort has also been reduced, by 15 percent on the XB9SX and by 22 percent on the XB12S and the XB12S/cg.

– A durable new Goodyear Hibrex final drive belt with Flexten Plus technology requires no scheduled service or replacement.

– A redesigned swingarm (all models except XB12Ss) is stiffer and 0.56 pounds lighter than the previous design. The swingarm continues to also function as the oil reservoir, and the oil cap has been relocated and redesigned to be easier to access and open. The inner fender and upper and lower belt guards have been restyled.

On the dutch site the XB9 is gone. The only 9 available is the CityX.

Would have been nice to see full fairings on the 9r or 12r. The race bikes are some of the best looking bikes I have seen.

The XBR also got slightly increased fuel capacity up to 3.82 gallons. Thanks to a new air intake system that does away with the duct that used to run through the frame/tank.

I wonder if the since the air intake system is not through the frame if the air scoop will be more efficient cooling the engine.
