EVERY time I changed the Mobil1 it was all creamy looking like water in it or something but the Amsoil has held up through 6000 miles and looks like I just put it in.   M1combat Posted on Thursday, July 21, 2005 - 03:52 pm:        Mobil1 75W90 gear oil in mine. If you put a 2X4 or so under the kick stand to level the bike while draining (be careful if it's a windy day) you can fill it with one full quart and be right on the money. I use Redline 20W-50 in the trans and engine. Nice smooth shifts too, and its not foaming up either. I used Lucas gear oil 75W90. I did find some info. in the archives, And it seems to be between Redline Amsoil and Mobil-1 I don't think you can say anything bad about Amsoil If you can find it.I was also stumped on wt. so you all helped me out good.   Cataract2 Posted on Thursday, July 21, 2005 - 08:51 pm:        I tried Mobil 1 15/50 in the trans. It worked alright except finding neutral became a pain. I have used the Mobil since 200 miles on the bike. Great stuff.
