It looks like they are offering a race replica of the XB12R in Europe. Here's a "translation" of the article:

Buell XB 12R Special by Number Created Milan nearly for bet, is making to speak about himself in the Italian Championship Supertwins. In production also one series limited from road of Daniel Massari, photo Andrea Bonaga The idea came to Giovanni Goes it, titular dela historical Harley-Davidson concessionaire Number One Milan, the past year: it convinced Max pilot Temporal, leaving for Brno where she would have participated to a contest in saddleback to a Ducati, to compete also in the Naked category with a Buell of all of series that Giovanni put to it ready to disposition. Therefore, after to have rinunciato to the third party place in contest because of the breach of the transmission strap, Max returned in Italy with the certainty that a Buell XB 12R, if opportunely prepared, could say its in the Italian Championship Supertwins. And eccola here: it is the motion that, with to a worthy team of the World-wide SBK, the from Milan concessionaire it has prepared for Thunderstorms and that it is quickly being introduced between you avail again very more credited for cavalry and corsistica vocation. In order to realize it it has been reached to catalogues of the best specialists of the aftermarket, above all those Americans, than of Buell they know some more of the Europeans. The superstructures, as an example, have been ordered from the historian Hal' s Speed Shop, while the modifications brought to propeller and ciclistica have been entrusted the best nostrani technicians. The result is a beautiful one special, but also a motion from absolutely competitive competition, with which 600 Thunderstorms supersportswoman has confessed to us of being in a position to turning faster than any. The street preparation of the XB 12R special of Number One Milan Of this Firebolt Special it comes upon request produced also one version retort (in small series and solo) in street preparation, with performante drainage, orange livery, footrests adjustable and pneumati Metzeler to us Racetec, to the price not just economic of 13.500 euro.
Buell XB 12R Special by Number One Milan Prepared for the track Since to the baptism of the track the found main problem was the breach of the strap of the final transmission, the first participation endured from this XB 12R has been the substitution of the forcellone of series with an other in a position to accommodating the final transmission to chain. Of equal step, it has been provided to a general modernization of the ciclistica, in collaboration with the specialists of Andreani Group: the staple has been lightened, equipped of new motivatings force and a double quantity registry of regulation in jam for high and the low speeds. Same participations also for mono the White Power installed to the retrotreno. The propeller has been upgraded thanks to a new one kit of pistons and cylinders racing produced from the Millenium Technologies, bind together you to the new commercialized drive shaft from Hal' s Speed Shop. The job of putting to point and lightening of the entirety is work of the specialist Roberto Pattoni, that she was already protagonist of Paton experience in 500. The forcellone of series it has been replaced from one in a position to accommodating the end to chain The telephone exchange, captured from a XB 9R and in a position to pushing the needle of the contagiri completes the modifications to the propeller until to quota 9,500 giri/min (against the 9,000 of which the XB is able 12 standards), bound together to the system of drainage in aluminum produced from the Quat-D. This, with to I use of circles in magnesium and Braking discs, allow to stop the needle of the balance to quota 180 kg.

Anybody have any idea as to what brand of wheels those are? Would the front be lighter than the stock wheel?

I saw an actual Buell Race bike in a Harley dealer near Portland, Or. It wasn't for sale. It did have a full fairing on it and looked sweet.

Coyote that is not the best mounting for a perimeter disk on the street. Tweek the rim and it binds in the caliper. That could turn a minor misshap into something very dangerous for the rider. Tis the reason Buell has patents on their front brakes and no other major motorcycle company produces perimeter brakes. That set up is best as "track only".

That bike races in the same class as our bikes in the Italian Supertwins championship. The front wheel is from Braking and actually starts life with double perimeter rotors, so they must have removed the left side one. I doubt that the weight advantage is that great over the stock wheel.
Exhaust header pipes are the Aero 45 race headers from Hot Performance (see our web site). Not sure which silencer they are using though.

Our/Free Spirits bikes run a completely different configuration with twin Brembo radial brakes and the new Aero Corse exhaust system from HP. There will also be an awesome new bike coming very soon: )

Hi Nicozz,
My apologies for getting the make of the exhaust wrong. It did look very similar to the Aero 45.

Redster, this system will be available shortly in two versions for road or race application. Price is not yet confirmed.

Whilst on the subject of race replicas, Bill (Buzz) Armstrong has just sent the latest pictures of his XB9R race bike that we sponsor. I'm sure you'll agree that the paintwork is absolutely stunning! Bill will be at Loudon this weekend and we wish him the best of luck: )

Just a generic question, but is there a reason the bodywork does not follow the lower sides of the frame/tank? I've always wondered why there was a widening gap when I see the full side fairings.
