Anyone know what the going rate for a TPS reset is from the dealers? I just purchased a D&D, and am waiting till payday to get the filter and ECM. If I heard the service writer correctly he quoted me $120!!! Is this right?

I hear you on that Chainsaw...

I bought the software from Daves too for something like $258 and I can do them from now on for free whenever I feel like it.

So the bugs are worked out of the techno tool now? Some were having problems.

I had some issues with the techno software, but for the amount of times I use it, I would rather live with the bugs then let the stealership touch the bike.

Unless I have something that needs to be fixed under warranty, the dealership will never see my bike.

software?? that sounds like computerie stuff. I take it you need a laptop and some sort of cable for this. I love the idea of not having to see the dealer for a TPS reset. Last time I went they didnt want to do it and that was the only bit of the first service not done (I did the rest). I even offered to use the scanerlizer myself as my English is probably way better and I am probably a better wrench than those apes anyway. I figgered it out in the end. I am sure they didnt know how to do it.
