Hey guys, I changed my mind on the direction that I'm taking my 12R in! I had thought I was going to chrome everything out, and in doing so I bought the chrome passenger and rider footpeg hangers. Of course I turned around and sold the stockers on ebay and now I want a set back. I'm open for offers for the passenger and rider hangers plus the brace on the swingarm that I also have bought the chrome piece for. Pretty much I'm looking to trade for stock parts that I can paint black and I'll send the chrome ones to somebody in return. Post up about it, maybe offer to pay the shipping both ways since those chrome pieces are not cheap and somebody that is doing the chrome thing can save some major change this way. Thanks guys! | ||

I'm going to keep the chrome beltguards and the foot guard things because I think it will look good to have a little chrome against the black, but if I change my mind after I do it I'll let you guys know. The only reason I want to get the stock ones is because I don't think the paint will coat well on the chrome. If I'm incorrect please let me know. Thanks guys! If someone wants to give me a call my # is 847-754-7401. I'll be sure to polish everything up really nice before I ship anything. PS: I also have my stock undertail if anyone is interested in taking it off my hands. I put the Ermax on and I have been to lazy to sell the old undertail. BTW, I did notice the heel guards on the passenger pegs were upside down after I took those pics. I know someone will say something, so there is your answer to that question. Later. | ||

You want 9's or 12's? I have a spare set of each. Make me a decent offer since I don't need the chrome and then you can sell the chrome seperately  | ||

I'm not sure if they are different. Anyone know? I haven't been around any S models to check them out. Is your second post saying that they're already gone? | ||

The are identicle between the 2 models. The '03 XB models had a shorter passenger peg hanger, but all the '04 models and up have the same hanger, just a different color based on the frame between the 9 and 12. If Tunes is up for the trade, go for it. Mine was just a suggestion is all. | ||

Thanks for the help Wycked. I looked up what I got for my stock stuff on ebay. I sold the hangers and heel protectors together, so we'll have to figure out what we think they're worth. There doesn't seem to be much interest in a trade, so I think I'll just take yours and sell the chrome stuff on ebay. I sent you a PM of the prices. | ||

Hey Olin...there is a product from Duplicolor that is made to be painted onto chrome (came across it earlier today) http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html Give it a look over, try it out, if it doesn't work then I will just straight trade you out for the items. The "Smoke" looked pretty good from what I saw of a piece done up with it. | ||
