I need a Brake lever ASAP as I dropped my bike and it bent slightly. I went to trake it for a ride just now and it snapped right off. I am located in the South Eastern part of Massachusetts.

Call Sheldon's HD, they usually have one in stock or call Dave S.

P.S. it helps if your email is in your profile

thanks but I need it before tuesday. I would even replace it with an aftermarket one, but I don't have one. I'm not really worried about the cost right now. I would even buy a used one.

These levers are pretty standard items, you might just visit any local, (non Harley), cycle shop, with the part in hand, and you probably will find a lever that will fit, or fit with just a bit of fiddling.
I broke my clutch lever at Loudon, fitted a Japanese one that someone had, by just enlarging the hole that takes the cable end with a Dremel tool. These levers are not made by Buell, I think they might be Italian or Japanese.

I can overnight one to you tomorrow. I know, it won't be there til Weds but that's the best I can do.
If it is a front lever, be VERY careful about putting a different lever on. A couple summers ago we were at the track and Doug, my old boss went down. We borrowed a lever for a Ducati, it looked the same, bolted right up, seemed to work in the pit.
He went out on the track and during the warm up lap, about turn 7, he got on the front brake harder than he did in testing in the pits. The lever stuck and almost flipped him over!
He had to drag the bike off the track, front brake was locked up tight.

I think I am gonna end up going with a matching set of the Billet aluminum ones from American Sport Bike. Anybody have a set of these? Do you like or dislike them? Wondering if they are worth the extra money?

I have sold quite a few of the CRG levers and people seem to like them.

Didn't I read somewhere that Yamaha R1 levers are exactly the same?

I think they are 89.00 each.
I'll check for sure in about 5 hours.
Headed to Appleton in a minute or two.

Just an FYI, a lever for an X1 will NOT work, the tab that works the piston in the mastercylinder is too long and keeps the piston in just far enough that the front brake will lock up of its own accord within a couple of blocks. 20 mins with a die grinder and a small course stone shaved it down to work until a replacement arrived.

You can use the front brake lever from the 1998-2003 model Yamaha R1.
