hey everyone, i got a 04 12r firebolt. racing chip, k/n airfilter, loud drummer. the sucker's been running like crap for almost 2 months now, so i checked, and changed the plugs. its running the same, like crap. i did notice that the idle/tcp adjuster cable has worn thru to the frame. would this cause any problems? i checked everything else electrically and i dont see any other wires, cables that are worn thru. and my dealership will not serivce my bike because when i dumped it last august and fixed it myself, they said its no longer safe for me to ride. blah blah. what seems to happen is, its poppin, big time, all thru the throttle, doesnt matter if its 3000 or 6000rpm its still poppin, and missing like you wouldnt believe...half the time i think its only runnin on one cylinder. any info would be great. thanks everyone.

Check your timing, and yes the worn thru idle adjust can affect things if its not holding tension or the cable itself is actually broken and you don't know it.

and my dealership will not serivce my bike because when i dumped it last august and fixed it myself, they said its no longer safe for me to ride.

On what basis are they claiming this?
