I had a baseball double header this weekend and it was so nice out I couldn't resist taking the bike. The only problem was finding a way to haul my trusty bat (I don't like to leave it with the team equipment to get messed up). The game was about 40 miles away so I had to make sure it was secure and safe. After finding a suitable location I had to take some pics. I had many double takes when sitting at the traffic lights. I doubt it was legal but it was worth the risk. It was a beautiful ride.

Tucked in nicely behind the oil cooler.

After removing the passenger foot pegs, I use the remaining holes to mount my bat.
How hot was that aluminum bat after 40 miles?

It's a wood bat...not aluminum. Wasn't barely warm when I got there.

Off topic here, sorry...how did you make both headlights stay on for the picture?

Is it not possible to halfway the switch to get them both on? Anyway some creative soldering can get them both on.

Yep, mine seems to do just fine setting the switch to halfway...doesn't seem to move while riding at all.

Yep, I always have it halfway. It stays there until I move it. Only been flashed once so far. Rather be seen as a glare then not be seen at all.

Just a heads up that a seemingly reliable anon posting indicated that leaving both on runs the risk of eventually melting the headlight housing...

There used to be a guy around here who kept a sword strapped to his M2. Some sort of Wakisaki, as I recall.

A new meaning to a hot bat. You should have the Pegasus engraved on the sweet spot and brand every ball that you hit.

Wouldn't be very many balls to advertise the brand the way I am swinging it these days.
