Thinking of putting some Renthal Street fighter bars on my 12s and wondered if anybody else was using them. Any problems with the fit on the braced ones like cables not reaching or the brace fouling. Also how does the bike feel with them. Any comment before I waste my money!!

I have Renthal high streetbars on my bike, if that's any help? I like 'em; they suit me and the bike well : )
There were no problems with any cable or brake hose lengths.

I used renthal Yamaha warrior quad bars. I`ve dirtbiked all my life and my XB9S is my first streetbike. These bars are taller but fit right on ,only had to cut 1 1/2"s off each end. They are very comfortable and make me feel right at home.

I've got the Ren Streets on mine, no problems fitting. Another Bristol XB'er,

They put you a little more forward than OE, more Supermoto

I like those, Enigma! I bought a set of Dirt Freak bars off Ebay, but the tubes are too narrow for my CityX handguard bar ends and bar end mirrors. The outside diameter is 7/8" but the inside is very tight, I guess due to the fact that they're aluminum. I'll have to look into the Renthals. Anyone know what their inner diameter is?

I use Azonic CR Lows and don't have a single problem. I took the brace off though. I love 'em...

Thanks for your help. Think I will give the Renthals a go and see how they feel.

Enigma, where did you get the mirrors, they look great. Also do you work in Filton cause I think I saw you a while back.

BXB, the mirrors are from Trojan. Look good but not the most functional , but it's never bothered me. Only downside is the black finish tends to dull pretty quickly.

I'm south Bristol but do zip around a bit,

You on www.ukbeg.com ?, my usual net stop.

Inside diameter of my Renthals is 12 or 13mm (0.5 inches).

Did the Renthal streetfighters have to be shortened at all?
