Does anyone have any ideas how I can adapt it to lift on the muffler of my XB?   Sleeper_777 Posted on Friday, June 24, 2005 - 11:53 pm:        Wood box with the inverse curve of the muffler at the topside, fitted with felt or indoor/outdoor carpet at topside to prevent scratching of muffler. I missed that thread. I'm going to try and make a wooden adapter. For the Canucks on this site... I bought the jack on sale at Canadian Tire for $89.00cdn. I think that's about $70.00 us.   Alstroker Posted on Thursday, June 30, 2005 - 12:07 am:        I fabricated a new saddle out of steel to fit my Craftsman lift. It fits the stock exhaust perfectly and is so stable that I don't even have to tie it down. I can roll the bike around on the lift and change both tires at the same time all without using tie downs. The lift slides perfectly under the bike without rolling the bike on blocks. I can build probably 3 or 4 of the saddles for $100.00 ea. If anyone is interested I will try to figure out how to post some pics of my setup.   Daveinm Posted on Thursday, June 30, 2005 - 09:38 am:        Don't have a problem jacking our bikes up...we all have d&d's. They're flat on the bottom. I've jacked the bike up without the exhaust on though. Can you please post a link for the stand that lifts both ends at the same time?
