Local dealer wants $11,500 for a new xb12s and $980 for a 10k service. I wonder what prices are like everywhere else?

The 10k pricing is discussed in a recent thread "Here we go - 10k service"

10,000 for the bike is fair. Depending on if they are adding frt,set up,other misc charges to that price?
980.00 for the 10K seems a little high.

is there a parts list for the 10K? I have a deal with the labor being done for free so I want to figure out the cost of parts and order them before I schedule the service.

it's 7 hours labor, we charge 55.00 per hour so 385.00 of it is labor

$55 and hour for labor is DIRT cheap. Many of the Harley shops in the Milwaukee area are at $80 an hour. Hal's IIRC are at $69 or $72.

The 10k service price is for any XB. I think labor here is around $78.

Correction - City XB is $10,500 and 12s is $11,500. I edited my first post to reflect this.

Prof - that thread got me thinking about the topic. I want more Buells on the road and I want our local to facilitate that, or at least know why they are not selling any Buells.

11,500!? Ouch! And I thought Nor Cal was bad. I havn't checked on prices as I only have 1100 miles so far but I saw on the dealer's Buell service board the price 0f $795. It's an old board though. It listed a 500 service at $370 but was really $334 (for the 1000 mile service). Still high compared to most places.
