Does the race kit pipe on the xb12 create that lost of torque under 3500 rpm compare to the original pipe? |

I heard from shop guys that the race kit is ok for the 9's but will sputter and pop on the 12's. remember the race kit was out when the 9's were out. u also lose ponies with the race pipe... thats from a Buell schooled shop guy |

You may want to ask New12r about not losing HP. After I got a new pipe I gave him my race pipe. I have a nine, he has a twelve. I'd like to see you try and take that pipe from him. |

This is on a 9 but as you can see you loose some bottom end , and gain HP up top |

Yes. I just wanted to post that since some people thought that you lost horsepower up top also. |

I'm curious, where did this dyno graph come from? Is it just a pipe change, or does it include the filter and race ECM? |

Jedwele That's the official Buell dyno for the Race kit. ECM, filter, and pipe. I had a dyno run with that config, the curves are exactly the same as above, the numbers however were a little off I made 80HP & 60ft/lbs IIRC. |

Looks to me like the XB9 race kit sacrifices some midrange from 4,000 to 4,800 rpm for whopping better low end and top end. Good grief, at 3,000 rpm you get a boost of around 15% more HP with the race kit. |

Where on the Buell website are the dyno sheets? Do they have one for a stock 12 vs the race kit 12? |
