He didn't crash! Aw shucks Ya can't let the TRUTH get in the way of a good story.

BTW Could anybody ever keep up with King Kenny? He was fast, lots of guys are fast, BUT how many guys actually change the way things are done? Before him road racers only slid the tires by mistake.

Ya know it kinda reminds me of another guy who changed how things are done, put Harley motors in sport bikes, gas in the frames etc. Who could that be?

Firebolt parts are starting to show up on the Buell site (or maybe I'm late on this one), like a couple of seat options.

Ramon,

Some regions get their deliveries before others. We won't have XB9R's in my area until next week. Kinda like Christmas morning when you where a little kid huh?

I always wondered how you got your bikes so soon. Out here in California, it was only the 12th of April yesterday. Shoot, I'm moving.

More pictures are coming. I just got home from the BattleTrax event in Frederick, MD. Frederick Buell had a white XB9R there. Their Pro Thunder racer, Brian, was riding the Xb on the BattleTrax course and kicking everyones butt! Mine included! Al Rudy from York was fast time of the day and fastest Buell (other than the XB) I got second place. Brian, on the XB was nearly two seconds quicker than Al and myself. None of use got a test ride, bummer, but maybe April 27 we can all ride one.
Jose was there taking pictures of the XB plus the neat little tool kit that comes with the bike.

Thats a pretty big tension pulley. I liked the smaller one better. Wonder why they switched?

Dyna,
I talked to the "Buell Guy" at a local dealer yesterday.
He had been told they had belt tracking problems with the pre-production version. He said the belt had been climbing the front sprocket.
Not sure if it's the real story but sounds possible.

Brad
BTW, They (St.Paul Buell H/D) hadn't got any of their "bolts" yet.

Court scooped me by about an hour, I decided to change my bikes oil and primary fluid instead of posting some of my pictures.

Here's some more, with more to follow tomorow:

Bryan_1
Bryan haulin ASS on the bike, it was his first day on it, the bike only had 45 miles!

Bryan_2
This is not an optical illusion, yes the bike is THAT small, and Bryan is THAT TALL!

he got pretty close to the edge of the tire.

This particular bike will be HD of Frederick's race bike, Bryan will ride it.

Here's a neat trick, they let me ride the bolt and I managed to take a picture while in neutral, at 7,000 rpm/110 mph...........

Well, that's really good for the motor: 7000 rpm in neutral with 40 miles on it. And I can hear it now..."I can't understand why they don't hold up under normal use..."

Firebolt parts pool time betting time.

How long before tip-over parts, service manual, and race kit are available, now that customers are actually taking delivery on these bikes?

I hope it is not 365 days later, as was the case with the 1999 X-1s.

I know some dealers have some accessories, but not the goodies they really need.

What happens when a customer takes out the only Firebolt a dealer is going to get for a while, and tips it over with fresh tires? Even before the April 27th intro date?
