Beginning my Heavy Metal XB Project. Planning on spiking out the fenders, windscreen and airbox too. Cheap way to mod the old "cheese grater". Figured I'd get comments from the peanut gallery before I started drilling my airbox.

Not my cup of tea, but if your into piercings, and spikes it could be cool. Will certainly turn some heads. Go with what ever suits your style and have fun.

Do it in honor of Halford rejoining the mighty Priest.

www.imosh.com for spikes and studs. They simply screw on! I've ordered some longer spikes to add to the mix.

Just hope you don't hit the throttle hard enough to slide back onto those. Ow..

Cool looking though.

...if you put them on the airbox, you can just STAB your tankbag on there...no need for straps!

Speaking of Halford and Priest, if you go see their current show with Queensryche, watch for Mike Stone, Queensryche guitarist, who has Buell stickers on his guitar! He's an avid tuber with an S2 that's in the equipment trailer for riding in between shows!

What a cool idea! I like it. It adds a bit of attitude & decreases the amount of holes in the grater for slightly (I mean slightly) enhanced wet road riding.
