I'd really like to hear a sound clip of one before I go and drop $399.   12bolt Posted on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 09:52 am:        I don't have a sound clip but I do really like the sound that this pipe pumps out. It's not the loud crackle-ear popping sound. More like a nice loud low rumble. I think it looks great in the Black with 2 Chrome/SS outlets. I'm not big onto adding a lot of flashy stuffy to my bike, but the outlets look cool, and I like the look of the black pipe. I've only heard 2 Buells with pipes, but they were going the other direction and I didn't catch what pipes they had on 'em. I second the comments of 12bolt; also fit and finish were very good. Be advised that if you don't already wear earplugs (I did), you will definitely START wearing them after fitting the Latus (or probably most any aftermarket exhaust). It sounds great, and I think it feels like a bit more power over my old Buell race can on my 9R. The tips look nice sticking out just a little bit.   Tomzweifel Posted on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 10:42 pm:        Jerseyguy and I did an informal D&D vs. Drummer (old style) sound test last week at a local bike night. Similar volume. The D&D was a little louder, a little more raspy. The Drummer was a little more mellow. No sound clip. Sound is great and seems to be a performance increase. Do not hesitate to purchase one.
