Around lunchtime I got some boxes from UPS.
I was worse than a kid at christmas. One was my Buell tank bag (Made in china how funny is that)
and the other was my race kit.

To install the Tank bag, I had to take off all 4 bolts for the Airbox cover so I decided to install the Racekit air filter, desnorkle it, and open up the airbox. After going back and forth in my mind I decided to dremmel the existing box instead of use the American Sportbike kit I have. This way I didnt have to re-route any of the lines or worry about a catch can. Eventually I will, but I didnt want to do it today.
So tonite I am going to take the long way to my hangout with my friends to cruise the necessary time at 3200 rpms, then I will install the muffler, have the 1000 mile service and do the tps reset. I'll throw the ECM in the parking lot as it is right under the seat on my bike

THANKS DAVES for the great deal.

BTW, The Buell tank bag rocks. It's like a James Bond bag with all these secret compartments and stuff.

Got the muffler installed
I found that if you remove the black plastic that covers the front belt "Sprocket" u can access the nuts on the hose clamps quite easy without needing a wobble head or taking off the tensioner. I would like to say

I HATE TORX BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but am used to them due to my jeep.

The dealer where we are going to a Demo Day this saturday was nice enough to squeeze me and another guy in for our TPS resets while we play on some bikes.

Congrats, Bro. You'll be really happy with the race kit. Just make sure to do the TPS reset. It makes all the difference in the world.

You're committed Clinton. Used to have a jeep, but there's no way I could handle TWO noisy, windy vehicles.

Went to a nice Buell Demo day today at Schaeffer HD in PA. I met up with a fellow Buell owner Denfrombucks and PA_XB9sx was one of the Demo ride leaders. Loads of fun on some very twisty backroads. When I arrived I swapped in my race ECM and the dealer fit in a TPS reset for me.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BABY.

Man am I jealous! I love jeeps, especially the Rubicon Unlimited. Has anyone seen the Gladiator concept truck? Wow!

To get back on topic, Congrats on the race kit.
Did you get the old style or new style tank bag?

I got the new style, which I am told, is now the only style. It's nice that they ended up with the one that is $60 cheaper.

I'll agree a Jeep & a Buell are a beautiful site.

And I just added a new Jeep to my stable. It's a nice 2000 Grand Cherokee. There are pictures of all my toys here, http://photobucket.com/albums/v654/wildman4x4nut/

Is that the Rock krawler suspension?
It looks like heims on the ends but I cant see the rear cradle or the passenger front setup to confirm.
