I am overseas, but my wife is back in Dallas. I just got off of the phone with her. She said on the news last night (8 June) there was a motorcycle fatality...news footage showed a yellow Buell (XB9S) just like mine. I know we have some Buellers from Dallas on the board. Obviously I regret anytime a fellow biker goes down, but is everyone present and accounted for from the BWB? Maybe some of our Buellers from the Board/Dallas can respond.

Remember, I got it on the phone...my wife saw the bike on the news. I think it was on one of the freeways, but I cannot tell you for sure. Evidently a car changed lanes and hit the biker.

Sorry guys, but it is AM here, and I gotta go to work. Again, I feel for the biker, but hope all of our folks are okay...

Wow. Bummer. Those cagers on the freeway are in their own little world. Trouble is they are also in ours...sometimes more than we would like.

I haven't heard about it either. It doesn't surprise me. Dallas has to be the 'driving with cell phone stuck in ear and no turn signal' capital. I stay away from the Dallas side of the Metroplex as much as possible.

I heard that! I used to live in DFW and swore off motorcycles until I left that area. Now I live in Reno, and got back on the band wagon.
