If anyone would like to sell the parts taken off to lower your bikes I would be interested in buying them. I'd like to convert mine from an xb9sl to an xb9s. My bike was advertised on the internet as an "s" but was in fact an "sl". I am just over 6 feet tall and I look like I am riding a bike that is too small for me. I hope it will handle just as well with the taller suspension! Thanks. Steve | ||

And a "cheap and dirty" alternate approach would be to just drop on a 9sx seat. That should buy you an inch or so anyway. | ||

You are exactly right Reep. The seat will gain you as much as the suspension and it's only 97.00 buck or so. | ||

Similar to Steve, I'm seeking options to raise my bike from Low to regular suspension height, either by retrofitting with OE parts, or swapping suspension components with another XB owner. I have an old ad in Classifieds with more details. Dave, does a swap from Low to normal require a similar list of OE pieces? | ||
