I asked the question in storm front on the B-C lower mainland tread one week ago and still waiting for an answer so I decide to try here.
I can get a 2004 xb12s for 11900$ can, at Deeley's and I would like to know if it's a good price and if I could find a better deal not to far cause I'm on Vancouver Island. I know we have Steeve Drane in Victoria but I'm not sure he can beet this price. So if someone from my side of the border can answer me it would be nice.

Other thing I know it's been talked about before but does it worth to go in the states to get a bike or it come to the same thing once you cross the border?

Hey,
I live in Victoria too and I think that you should go for the bike a Deeley's. Sounds like it's a good deal and I've heard nothing but good things about those guys. I've also questioned about buying a bike from the states through ebay, however, there will always be the risk of getting someones else's crap. If you get your XB i'd love to see it some time.

Js, I'd buy from Deeley. A new XB9 has an MSRP of $11,599 CDN--if the 04 12S is new, and you really want the 1203cc engine, then go for it.

I cannot recommend Kamloops H-D; neither myself nor Bake have had good purchasing experiences there.

Deeley did have some leftover 03 9s when I was looking back in December/January...

Heritage Harley here in Edmonton had an '04 XB12S go for $14,100.00 (GST included)...sounds like a really good price in Vancouver...go for it!
Don't bother bringing a US bike across...too many paper issues to waste your time with.

Look like Deeley's got the best price around!

Hremodo do you come up to Comox sometime? I saw two xb's last summer passing in front of the military base and it's the only 2 xb's I have seen in Comox so far.

The 12 I tried was at the demo ride in Victoria last year.

Check out Barnes H/d-Buell in Langley. I paid $9999 last year for a 9S, which was $2200 less than Deeley's could do.
Dont know what Barnes's service is like tho.
But Deeley's customer service is better.
