So, my original aluminum bracket snapped so Jardine sent me the steel replacements. However, the longer one on the right side doesn't match up with the holes. If I attach the bracket to the pulley tension unit, the end doesn't meet up with the bolt near the front of the muffler. It's off by a good half inch. The old aluminum bracket didn't even have that mounting point. I'm sure this is a much better design, but has anyone else had this problem? I'm sure I could just cut off that extended portion but I'd rather utilize that extra mounting point. I'll probably get in touch with them, but I was curious as to anyone else having that problem.

I think we all had that problem. I put it in a vise and bent it until the holes lined up.

Yes mine was the same, I just slot cut the bracket on one side, sealed with nail polish from the girlfriend, once you place it back, it can't move and the other bolts hold it in place.
EASY FIX, but sure is strong.. no problems.

I'm surprised folks haven't written to JARDINE to re-adjust the jig in the construction phase.
Then we won't ever have this happen again.

I have, but there are probaly 100 of these in the inventory of their distributors and dealers. Unfortunately, unless the distributors or dealers take the time to send them back to Jardine nothing will be done with them.

Jardine=Summit=Thorley Headers=crude brackets...

What the heck though, it's still a nice can for the money.

I had to bend and file my right bracket as well. It wasn't off by 1/2 inch though. You may need a replacement bracket in that case.
