Oh yah....
Well I have ACME Rockets on mine....
I wish...
Maybe we should all start a new thread that posts were some of these aftermarket parts come from, cuz I am haveing a hell of a time finding parts for mine. Im so pissed at the dealer who sold me mine, that Im ready to tell the bank to buy it back and go get an RC51 V-Twin.
So help please.

Oh, and hanes, what do I need to do to bore my velocity stack, and to bore the throttle body? who can do it or where cna I get it done...
This is why we need a thread that lists locations and links.

M1 > "Mine's quickest... I yanked my snorkel..."

Been yankin' my snorkel for years. Didn't know it was supposed to make my bike faster, too.

but I would like to be able to ride at 180kph to 200kph without screaming the guts out of the engine.

XB's don't mind that sort of speed/revs, just take it out til the rev limiter kicks in, no probs. You will not be "screaming the guts out of the engine", in fact they like it.

..and they're designed to do it. I wouldn't be gearing it up, at those speeds you'll need all the revs/hp you can get.

Wildduke, I am really just buying the 9 front primary gear(3 teeth smaller) and chain, The clutch baskets are the same so parts should be minimal. I have Travis in parts at Stone Mountain HD/Buell looking into durability and so forth. I hope it works out, I think the only thing that will suck is the higher RPM on the freeway to the mountains.

Hey Rocket,

That type of "big brotherism" is down-right disturbing. I suggest a little "London Tea Party". You people need a revolution. Hey if we can get one going with a handful of unruly Bostonians, you can too!

Plenty of room for you in Cali.

I live in South Africa, our National road speed limit is 120km/h, there are stretches where you can ride for more than a 1000km and not see a single traffic officer, so to run my 12R up to limiter is no problem, I found if you can find the bit just before the limiter kicks in, then you can see 230km/h on the clock, the problem is that the best distance I could do at that speed is about 160km then you need to find fuel quickly, else normally if I do a long distance run, I run her the whole day at 160km/h, that is where she sings and there be enough on tap to overtake anything you come up to.

There are overdrive kits for Buells, which adds a 6th gear (0.86:1), but they cost almost 1/3 the bike!!! Do a search on for 'buell overdrive conversion' on google.

Jon the revolution is coming. Lucky I got oil under my finger nails! Do they take 'mad dogs and Englishmen' in Cali or just AmEx?

Stef the Isle of Man has no speed limit in force outside of built up areas all year round - except during TT week when speed limits are posted in certain areas and rigorously enforced. Worse case you can get thrown off the island so TT week is not the week to judge speed limits.
