Ping them both to find out, but any admin could know with a few keystrokes. Expect the matter to be resolved shortly, but note that there are a few other 1-letter-different screen names on the site currently (Blake vs Bake for example), but in this case with Norrisperformance it is clearly a case of something else. | ||

Does the Race Kit (ECM, Muffler ect...) have any effect on factory warranty? American Sport Bike refers to this in their Race ECM description, I believe. | ||

This guy really has a problem with me, for some reason. I got over 5000 bogus e-mails this morning. I've sent e-mails to custodians and to Blake. I hope it will be cleared up soon. I also hope to find out who this guy is and where he lives, this has gone way to far. It would appear that, Smokie, Fogal, Stavross, Peel, Aussie_buell_riderz, Maverickbuell,Juggalo081 are all the same person. installing the kit constitutes "tampering with emissions equipment". technically your warranty is void, but buell will stand behind their products when installed by a licensed hd/buell dealer. | ||

Madsx...regarding doing it yourself, if you use the race ECM you will need to have the TPS send a signal to the ECM...the Harley/Buell shop has the stuff to do that. I think if you simply put the race ECM on without the TPS adjustment/signal calibration, you will get some weird idling and RPM changes. I have a race ECM myself, but have not installed it...overseas; don't trust the Harley shop in Seoul to do it...not a Buell dealer, etc. Anyway, you should be able to do it if you are mechanically inclined, except for the TPS calibration on the ECM. There are plenty of guys on the board who have dealt with that...should get lots of advice on that, especially if you post a thread on it...or do a search. | ||

Madsx... Again, I have not pursued because of where I am at, but I do believe I saw a post on the software somewhere. As mentioned, there is a lot of experience and info from the guys on the board. I am sure someone has the info. You might check the knowledge vault too...not sure that info will be there, but there should be something on TPS Reset somewhere. Again, if you try a search on TPS you should get lots of posts. Gotta get ready for work...enjoy that Buell  | ||

Fogal My above post already say's I was incorrect. I apologize. Thanks for the IP address, I used whois to look up and get your real address. So I can come visit sometime. The above intruder has been reported, and will probably be droped by his ISP. It also looks like criminal charges can be filled. A private investigator is handling the whole thing. Elff - I want a full report on what you think about the race kit once you've had it installed for a few rides. This is something I've been thinking of, but need to start a special fund to do it. But then again, what if it makes me slide off my seat?! I'm lovin' that seat. It's way more comfortable for longer rides. | ||

It's installation is going to coincide perfectly with my 1000 mile service I decided to be lazy and get the open air box kit from American Sportbike and will eventually add that catch can from Mr. Norris. All these mods should smooth out the power band and take my bike to the next level. | ||
