Hey, got a question for yall. My local dealer stripped the long bolt on the pulley cover. It was just seized, would spin in either direction. I drilled off the head,my only choice, and it looks like the nut portion (that the bolt goes into) is freely spinning. I guess it's swaged or pressed in someway. It looks to me like it's in the center of the main pivot bolt for the swingarm??? Anybody had any experience with this??? I would like to change it out sometime, although running it with the two front bolts doesn't look like it will be any problem...
I had to take it off to change mufflers and I believe I took it off when I changed the rear tire also... And taking it to the dealer again was out of the question: I'm afraid to think what they would have done to repair it...

Thanks, Kevin

Here is some advice...don't take it back to that dealer: ) Shouldn't they be fixing that for you?

i have found that when removing any bolts more than once weakens them and they should be replaced

i have striped several bolts already, but not that one yet

striped bolts are fun to get out
