Is anybody running the Bridgestone Battleax tires on their XB? And if so, what do you think of them? How long do they last? How well do they handle? And what is their wet weather performance like? An answer to any or all of the above would be great. Thanx Mark |

Which one's are you talking about the 010's, 020's, 014's they are all good tires the 014's stick very good the 010's are discontinued from what i've been told, replaced by the 014's and the 020's are too hard for my liking. I'm now running the Metzeler Sportec's they are SWEET!!!!! Later J |

Thanks for the info, J. I was actually leaning toward the Metzler Sport-tec when I came across the Bridgestone tires for a better price. I just wanted to know how they compared. |

I've been running 010s on my bike for a few months. Here in FL we are not blessed with the great curves that some of the other states have so the idea of a harder center and softer edges really appealed to me. I've got about 5000 miles on the tires now and they are still looking pretty good, I think my suspension upgrades have a little to do with that though. |

on my second set of 020 the mileage i get on them is double that of the dunlops break-in should be taken slow ( i dumped by bike last week on a new rear) take a while longer to warm up than softer compounds (Dunlops) i take it slow in the rain and they seemed to work well considering the price is a very appealing aspect to he tire remember they are a Sport touring tire overall i give them an A- |

Pirelli scorps here. At 8K it was time to replace. At 8500 miles it was really time. At 9K the cord is starting to show.. Oops..... |

I had some 020s on my ZX6-R and will never have them again ! They took a real long time to get up to temp and even then they didnt stick so well - granted, they are sport touring tires, but, the Dunlop D220s worked much better . I have been using the Pirelli Diablo Corsas with much sucess ! And would encourage anyone to try them ! I got 3 trackdays and about 1200k miles from a set. They probally would have lasted longer, but, I tend t oerror on the side of safety when doing trackdays - plus Im a tire snob ! I have made the jump to the Super Corsas for my trackdays and all I can say is WOW ! They grip and grip and grip ! Awesome track tires, not so good for the street how ever ! |
