Thinking about a zero gravity double bubble, any input from those who have one? My issue is the wind hitting me in the chest and up into my helmet ( stock shield, when I ride upright, which is most of the time ) Any help from DB? Thanks for info, Greg

Never had one but heard there was a problem with the double bubble melting your dash face.

If you're wanting an windscreen for a more upright position get the sport touring screen. That's what I've got and really like it. You can get it in the stock 12 amber color also.
I've also heard that the double bubble, sun, and dash guages are not a good mix...

I love mine.
For more protection you should go with the ST model.
I have both in stock of course!

I bought the sport touring windscreen for my xb12r, 04' and it makes a big difference in wind protection. With the stock your upper torso is constantly being blasted and you are fighting the wind sometimes to stay on. With the sport touring it creates more of void behind the cockpit so that you can concentrate not fight rider position at high speeds. I got mine from zero gravity direct in the stock amber color. Exotic Sportbikes carries them too(just ask for the stock amber). The double bubble after talking to and e-mailing mr.gravity stated that they had problems with the double bubble causing the gauge panel to melt. Happy hunting. If you want to see what it looks like check out my profile. It's in there as the "RAGU" commercial states!

Ditto on the ST model. It's the one that doesn't melt instrument panels. While you're at it, put the race ECM in. Same neighborhood.

I had the double-bubble on my 12R for ~15k miles and I love it. It reduces the amount of wind hitting you in the chest at speed and I actually like the look of it better than the stock windshield. I've heard of issues with the dash melting, but I haven't had any trouble with mine despite it living outside for the first ~15 months of it's life.

I have the ZG ST windscreen in clear. It is great for wind protection and I can lay down behind it on the fast straights. Here is a pic of it on the bike. I am 5'8" tall if that helps any.
