It's not the space, it's the processing power and bandwidth to send those larger images.

Bigger pics... more bandwidth... it ain't free. From my experience, if one takes advantage of the www.xat.com image optimizer one can achieve excellent quality in images that darn near fill the screen in SVGA mode and still fall well below the 70 KB file size limit.

Anything more than 700 pixels in width is overkill. You gotta remember that some, even many here are still using dial-up and a bunch of large pic files kills page download time.

And again, it costs mucho bandwidth and bandwidth ain't free.

I dont find a problem with the pictures.

This is 600 X 450 and is only 55.7K
