And Daves might be able to get them for you - but he'll give you the same answer he gave me.

Don't get them. They may cause more damage than it's worth. Get the frame pucks and be done with it.

I really have to put a word in for pucks and the axle sliders from Dark Horse Moto.Keith had great turnaround on the sliders they installed in seconds
and he even included a lil locktite in with the shipment.

Agreed. Machining on the Dark Horse sliders is flawless. I went with them, frame pucks, and bar ends.

And don't forget to protect yourself while your at it. Don't stop at just a helmet - it's worth every cent.

Spoke with daves and will order pucks and axle sliders ( got the same advise as Cruisin got). I previously bought frame pucks on E bay but won't stick on the bottom corners and keep wanting to peel up. Maybe old stock or incompetant installation (me).....John

well I have to say ... that I added the frame pucks AFTER a little lay down in the parking lot here at work .... and you know what .. the puck covers over a little dimple in the frame as a result of my indiscretion ....

Eurotwins, wipe the area that you are going to install the pucks down very well with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry completely before following the directions that come with the pucks. When you go to peel the backing sticker, try and peel it from the middle instead of the corner or outer edge, as that can cause the peel up your speaking of. If you still have problems, mask off the area around the puck with masking tape and newspaper so you don't get any spray on anything else, and use 3M trim adhesive from the automotive stores. It comes in a small spray can, you spray the area where the puck will attach and the pucks adhesive side, let set for a bit, then stick them together. Just be aware, once you do that method, removel is going to be a major pain.

Any bar ends w/rubber for 7/8" bars will work.
Lockhart-Phillips makes lots of different ones.

Those LSL sliders look like they will damage the primary case with a dump on the left side and damage the front cylinder with a dump on the right side. Quite severely too.

I have both on my 9r LSL and Buell pucks. I'd like to think that with the pucks it will dampen the shock of a fall, where as the LSL would lessen any damage.

I got the LSL one week before the pucks came out.

Be careful what you wipe the frame down with, I dripped acetone on the plastic air scoop and stained it, it looks terrible.

7/8" = 0.875"
0.875"x25.4 = 22.225mm

But ignore that, because LP sells them for 7/8" bars.

I have to admit that I dunno from a vibration standpoint (would anything?). I just wanted metal bar ends instead of plastic.
