Potential Stupid Question Alert (PSQA) - When inspecting the primary chain tension for an XB9R, the Service Manual says to "rotate engine to move primary chain". How is this accomplished? Will the bike on a stand, in neutral and then rotating the tire accomplish this? |

With the bike on the stand rotating the tire with the bike in gear will do it for you. |

Also, go all the way up to fifth to rotate. It's much easier. |

If you still can't get it to rotate, you'll need to pull the plugs. |
