actually we run that pipe on our 1160 motor in the 9 and it still not as loud as the force pipe on my street bike. but close. great perfomance this pipe commands big displacement. but hold out for rich conrads new pipe. the old becin got a little close to the plastic pushrod tube covers.keep your eyes on racingmotorcycles.com

Its not cheap at $1,275.00, I'm just getting a list of goodies together for my new bike, I love the Force pipes but due to the poor tune ability of it cause of software issues with the ECM's and the TFI and Power Commander's. I want something with some back pressure so the bike will smooth all the way through the torque curve.

here is a new race pipe that we will have on offer very soon. Take a look at the location of the exit pipe! This is fitted to our partners race bikes in Italy at present and is performing very well: )

Looks good... Just wondering though why you wd. want so much length in pipe as I see the header is almost the same as the force pipe , But with a whole lot more pipe and Weight as well ..? Just wondering???

I currently run the same pipe on my XB9R race bike. See it at www.pushrodracing.com. I purchased my 1169 kit from Rich at racingmotorcycles.com and they have a new pipe that is being made and will be out soon. I don't even think he has any more of those available but he might.. The biggest problem with mine and I'm sure others is not having them slip fitted. The new pipes are slip fitted. That is alot of weight hangin on the header studs and they tend to break if you use your stock studs. Make sure to get the header studs from Rich as well. I have broke a couple and just got my pipe repaired and slip fitted and they performed MAGIC on my pipe. they are a great company...

I should have my dyno read out in a week or so and I will post it so you can see. I was hitting 108hp with 80lbs of torque and that was running too lean. Thats with the 1169 kit.

The kit was pretty pricey but I am winning races with it so it doesn't matter anymore to me.. Money well spent. I would give Rich a call because the price could be different than it was then. I know they have alot of new stuff in the works. But it was a couple thousand for everything. The pipe is the most expensive piece

I run the Beson (Tom Beson's last name is spelled that way - Innovative has it wrong on their website)

Unless they're changing them - you will have to have a local stainless welder put in a port for your oxygen sensor.

Beson has told me that he didn't want them ever run on the street because of all the whining he used to get with commercial sales (he mainly makes race-boat exhausts) But he acknowledged that he cannot control what is done with the pipes after they leave his shop (to Innovation for example)

Yeah, they need a second slip coupling! They cost about as much as any other race exhaust ($1300 a year ago) - but if you're not running an O2 sensor, you're going to need an ECU that will operate open-loop (such as the Buell race module) - but again, I think Innovation charges about $250 for each map over and above what you pay for the "box" itself.

We did a dyno run at Bartels swapping my Beson with their hand-built reverse-cone meg race pipe on their XB racebike - and the Beson made about 4-6 more HP than their race pipe. Same bike, same dyno, same day, same temperature.

If you run on any track that does sound limitations - you cannot run - Laguna Seca, Sears Point to name a couple out here. Too much noise. It is the noisiest bike of all bikes racing at Willow Springs - even gets comments from the announcer during practices and races.

Slaughter,

Agree. The box itself was pretty pricey and then the map on top of that. From what I heard Beson is not doing the pipes anymore. I got booted out of Portland International because of there sounds limits of like 103 and I was hitting 105 or something.. Kinda stoopid if you ask me these race tracks with sounds limits. I mean its a race track and vehicles that race are much louder than normal vehicles.. I think its stupid.... It is loud though and I love it.. as long as I have my ear plugs in.
