Are you trying to fill in the holes left by relocating the mirrors? If so, what I did was to go to my local shop and order 2 of the plugs that come stock on the XBR's. The total was less than a buck! I had to cut the one on the brake (I think it was that side) side down a bit to get it to fit though. I spent 1/2 a day trying to find a bolt that would fit and couldn't find one.

The thread is "Fine Metric M10 x 1.25". I used the holes to mount some electronics.

I am looking for a replacement for the stock lollipops.

I was using a set of Emgo Bar End mirrors, which I really liked. I added the Wind deflectors from the City X, and I figured out a way to mount both the deflectors and the bar end mirrors--it worked but it didn't look good.

I want something like these:

I'm not sure if they will fit.

I'm in the same boat. Let me know if you find anything. I'm going to take a look around now that I know the thread size.

Jim, do you happen to know if "Fine Metric M10 x 1.25" is the standard size for Hon, Kaw, and Suz?

I believe they are all basically the same...I just got a rizoma 998 from a duc dealer & it fit fine. I want to say some yamahas may be different...?

Hey Tpoppa-

I had those mirrors on my XB9s for about two days. I bought them from a different guy, though. They are really cheaply made with VERY light weight plastic. I paid $23.95 for them as well and SOLD them three days after I got them. Just a warning.

What about some dope chrome mirrors? Like something on a Harley. Isn't there some sort of adapter out there? Could you make an adapter yourself? A threaded bushing maybe?

those carbon mirrors are worse than useless. Had some on a gsxr. vibrated, folded themselves in at highway speed, and stems broke very easily.

Tpoppa...Koz has/had those mirrors on his M2 and reported not much better visibility, but they sure did look sharp.

If I remember correctly he bought them from Flanders at http://www.flandersco.com/MirrorSearch.html

You may want to check them for a price comparo to prevent getting the shaft on Ebay. YMMV
