Ok, this question is old but maybe now after a lot of people has tested what's available on the market there is consensus about this thing?

Since I am getting a new CityX, I would like to know if I should go with the Pro-series muffler or with D&D, Drummer or something else.

Which muffler gives the best result in terms of HP and torque?

Which muffler has the best sound and is loudest/most quiet?

The assumption is that the other Pro-series mods are done.

I would greatly appreciate some advice so that I make the right choice from the start...

Get the Drummer, race ECM and the K&N filter. Works great!

I'd still like to see a dedicated place for sound clips of each pipe, and dynos for each as well. All the info and claims out there get confusing.

There are a few things in universal agreement on this subject:

1) The Drummer and D&D both flow better than the race can.

2) The D&D is more expensive than the other two.

3) The D&D and at least one flavor of the Drummer are louder than the race can.

4) This thread has been beat to death.

I know my D&D sounds friggin' awesome, I ordered it from DaveS, it took about 10 minutes and a couple of beers to put on, and it pulls strong.

Take your pick from either the Drummer or D&D. You can't loose with either. Then, don't express your preference of one over the other. Please.

I have a full OEM race kit for my CityX that I am considering for sale. I have only installed the muffler and used it for about 500 miles. No damage. The ECM and filter are still in the box. If you are considering this set up, email me and save some money. I am going back to stock can for stealth or bike sale, (changing to track style bike.)

I've been very satisfied with my Drummer, K&N, and race ECM on my 9. Seems like no matter how I try to screw things up with my own "improvements" I can't make it run bad. No stumbles, no backfires, no hard starting, no bad idle and no pissed off neighbors or cops.
