Great Idea John
I think manufactures would be up for it.
I would if it was my product.
But whom would everybody trust?
Some techs don’t know enough.
Tilley’s is one place I think would be fair.
I will do as much as you guys will let me.
I say, John and me should meet at Shelton’s HD,
run a base line on both bikes, and then switch
pipes, and run them again.
Maybe we can get some other pipes to show up.
And some witnesses also.
John has the D&D and the race pipe
and I have the loud Drummer.
Who else is up for it?
Get enough people to vote on sound also.
I would like Dana to be there.

I am all up for it. Actually I have the stock pipe still, the Buell race pipe, and the D&D. As stated Mike has the Drummer. Anyone else in the area up to put in on this. I bought my bike from Tilley's and I wouldnt mind heading back there for some dyno run's. John |

Norris I'll tell you what.Do what you gotta do.You bore me.You make it sound like I hate the Drummer....never said that.But what I do hate is the way every time a pipe or what can I do to my bike to make more HP,or.... I put this pipe on and its not running right questions arise you are not far from just a couple of posts to say.You should of could of bought a Drummer.Or its the best pipe on the market crap.Do you seriously see Dave,Al,Craig,Odie or any of the sponsors beating you over the head everytime someone opens there mouths.NOPE!!!Your unreal man take a downer or something. |

Well, John and I will be sitting up a dyno day.
With lots of wittiness, and a certified tech will
be doing the testing @ a HD dealer.
I’ll get the dates and times and place together
and if Odie , or any other manufacture wants to show up
and bring your pipe that would be great.
I’ll try to get things arranged
so an audience can watch.

Hey Norris,
Just tell me something wd. ya??? Do you OR Do you even have accesss to a MAchine shop, Miller, lath etc. etc. As All I see you doing is talking about the Drummer Etc. etc. I thought you were going to get those Catch Cans Together etc.etc As someone with either access to or their own shop wd. have had them made by now etc. etc Im wondering if you even do have a shop at all , LEt me and others know here IF you EVER plan on doing them Catch Cans As IF NoT I will just go to other Sources, And I`m Really with BAds1 here Enough pushing the " Drummer " Its starting to be BORING to say the least and I wd. think anyone that is here on this forum on a day to day basis as I am and others wd. think that all you are doing is PUshing the pipe down their Throats enuff Said Again and again as you have said your self ENUFF SAID... THANkS |

Hey guys, we all need to chill out here. I really don't think there is one "best pipe" or "best ECM" or "best bling bling accessory". Buy what you like to suit your own needs and be happy. You don't need acceptance or verification from anyone else but yourself.
Remember "Different in every sense"? I for one relish being different and individual. That's one of the appeals of Buell Motorcycles unlike the UJMs. I've taken my own path my whole life & it's worked well for me.
I might tease BadS1 now & then since he gave up his Drummer but I'm glad he's happy with his D&D and I'd ride with him or HOGS any day. NJBUELL has a Latus and loves it. It's a bit loud for me, but its cool that he likes it and I kind of enjoy the nasty sound when he gets on it.
As far as Drummers go, they suit my personal needs for sound and performance. Another biggie for me is being a small business person myself, I like dealing with small businesses if I can. Plus Kevin is one of the nicest hillbillys you'll ever meet and I really enjoy helping a brother out. |

I've got one job I need to finish, I should be thru with today.
And I'll start on them there cans. You want Hogs engraved
on the front of yours or something else. I'll get it shipped this week.
As far as the pipe thing, the dyno shoot out
should take care of the pipe wars.
Any guide lines you think should be followed??
I want be doing the testing, a HD tech will.
And I hope to have three or four bikes to test
with.
And maybe a Buell HP shoot out afterwards.
I hope to make this a sponsored event.
And a fun day for all !!!!

Don`t take my post on the Drummer the wrong way But Drummer this, drummer that gets tiring to hear all the drummer , drummer talk all the time And dynos , winos., all pipes will have roughly the same output, as I`m sure alot want the sound as well and me for one If it meant to lose 1-3 hp to have the sound I WAnt No plms. there,
Wow Unless one is into DRAG racing whats 1 or 2,3 hp. and some will say the different power band then just down shift that baby and get the revs, up That only applies in all out TRACK racing,.. Put the Hunk of metal on there that one wants on a 12 its hard to beat the STOCK can FACE it Guys its the best of both worlds,a change one wd. want Is for SOUNDDDDDDDDDDdd,
The most ppl. talk here with regards to the Can is ...Well whats it sound like, anyone have sound clips etc.etc atleast for the past year or so is what I have been hearing, like I said 1,2,3 horsepower whats that good for unless you are trying to get that extra "tenth" of a second of a quarter mile run. and in the twisties just down shift that baby and keep the revs Up where you should be anyways...
Dynos what I have heard over the years depends alot on the operator , and So,so, so... many other factors should have a min. of three back to back runs if not more...so 1,2,3 horsepower could be high one run and the low another , then when ya get around to doing all these can changes on the same bike I guess ur plans are , then all the other factors come into play , again ,again Don`t waste your time get out there and RIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LoL |

If i had a way to record the pipe i would..
the sound is sick... like a tuba on steroids
at the last biker swap meet/bike show.. it literally drew a crowd... kids on bicycles followed me out of the area... |
