Well I went to go to the store and was going down the road at about 10-15 mph. I felt a vibration that I haven't felt before. I know all about the one when you hit the brakes but that aint it. I wasn't useing brakes. I felt it thru the bars, the pegs, and the whole bike. Thinking it was rough road I turned onto another, same thing. OK, maybe engine is running rough at this rpm I thought so I sped up a little. It got worse.

So I came home and started going thru the manual and BWB for answers. I checked the steering bearing, orange, and everything looks good.

What else could this be. The front tire is the org. with 4300 miles, it still has life left. Could this be it?

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Aaron

check the front and rear tires for cupping or feathering of the tread.

Original front w/ 4300 miles...

"Probably" cupped/feathered...

Most here will say that the Pirelli Diablo's or the Metzeler Sportec's are the good replacements.

Check the tire pressure, look for missing wheel weights. Check the belt for rips or fraying. Is it running on both cylinders? Always trouble shoot the simple stuff first.

Pull in the clutch while riding, coast, and rev the engine. If vibration is independent of engine speed, it's probably wheels/tires. If vibration corresponds to engine speed, it's engine-related.
