OK all you tweakers,

Has anyone considered creating a high slider at the passenger footpegs? I never two up, but have left my PFPs on as they will provide some protection high and back.

Any ideas?

Charlie

I'm the same way, I never carry a passenger. I would like it to also have the ability to run a tie down strap through it.

shouldn't be hard to just bolt something onto existing mounts....I was thinking of something a little more elegant and aesthetically pleasing.... if you know what I mean

i would like some of those LONG extended Sliders like seen on stunt bikes mounted back there if you build a steel mount bracket for them to bolt into it shouldnt be hard. If they are long enough they may double as foot/leg rests also? or you can stand on them for wheelies =) I would be interested in seeing this done, I have been comtemplating it for sometime now.

Rocketsprink, that looks like it would work. I will try to find that in the archives.

I must say although those bolts are pretty big where the passenger peg bracket mounts...that is a pretty fair distance to be holding back something that far out...I would wonder about the bolts snapping.

It would help on the initial impact though...
