Does anyone have any information on the back order of the race kit for the 12? I tried to order one through Dave a couple of weeks ago and was told it was on back order through April 15th. Dave just told me that it will be on back order further until April 30th. Seems everytime I try to order something from Buell they don't have it available. Dave has been great to deal with; I just want to know if anyone else out there is running into the same road blocks. | ||

I think the backorder is on the race kit, not the components thereof. See if you can order the ECM, filter and a D&D. I just bought the filter and D&D from Dave yesterday! | ||

Try to get your dealer to call around and find one for you. I had to hassle my dealer to get them to do just that. Amazingly they found one within a week.  | ||

No disrespect to Dave, But if you think ordering Race kits or Filters are slow, you try ordering a Buell Jacket. Ordered one in February, still have my fingers crossed. Dave has kept me posted with the progress.. soon.. just in time for winter... | ||

The filters are now available through some K&N distributors on line. I know that Buell had an exclusive in the past, but I've seen them available in the past few months. | ||

Thanks for the info guys. I hadn't thought about trying to get the parts individually but it looks like yet again Dave has come through with the parts. Although it has been stated countless times Dave deserves a beer or better yet a keg for the level of service he provides. Thanks | ||

My local dealer order a bunch of Vanson stuff months ago and it still hasn't come it. Court don't you have contacts at Buell, maybe you should suggest that they switch to a different distributor for apparel, one that will not only fill dealers orders in a timely manner but have a good selection. |
