Just finished an IBA ride this weekend on my XB12S. I've written it up in the "Tale Section".

Anybody else done one of these on an XB?

So I take it the shop did a really good job of putting it back together : )

I know Fullpower has done it on his atleast oncebut I give him more credit since he lives in Alaska ; ) J/K. I myself have come close when I have run to San Diego, then up to LA and back home, works outr to just over 850 miles in 24hours. Just haven't set out to do the full 1K yet.

Wow!

Congrats on the achievement!!

I am planning to ride the XB9S from Florida to Quebec, Canada end of May and this helps reassure me about LD riding on the XB.

Here's to you

Most I've done is 812 miles on my XB9R in 14 hours to Sturgis and back last year.

Wycked, I wonder if I forgot to post...they did, indeed, get it back together. And correctly it appears. I've had it back for a couple months (and a few thousand miles) now and my Valk feels sadly neglected.

Qcbuell, I highly recommend the Buell saddlebags and matching tail bag. They fit the S rather well and hold quite a bit of gear.

Fullpower, riding up to AK has always been one of my dream rides. (Another was doing all of Hwy 1 in CA...checked that one off last year with my wife on the Valkyrie.)
